From Steve S:

All Right fellas....

We are doing a chain of 1M Hail Mary's for those who are suffering from the corona virus and the whole country at risk.  Say one Hail Mary and pass on to 10 people.  Let me know if you can't do this so we don't break the chain.  🙏🏽❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Got the important one done first. Here is my reflection for today:

It's those changes in latitudes,
changes in attitudes nothing remains quite the same.
With all of our running and all of our cunning,
If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane.

These lyrics blared from my headphones as I was out for a two-mile run today. I started to think about these and realized that in all situations God is trying to communicate with us if we just listen to his message.

With all of our running and all of our cunning- We could not stop this virus and probably cannot control it.  This virus was meant to be at this time. It was created by God and it was created for a reason. What is that reason is, only God knows, and He shares the answer with each of us individually if we decide to listen to him.
It’s those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes nothing remains quite the same- I decided to listen to him today and I think his message to me was quite simple. We have lost the ability to love God first and love our neighbors.  In the news I have noticed that people are starting to blame each other.  A China official blaming an American soldier, the president blaming China, people blaming the President that he reacted too slow, and people blaming immigrants, homeless people, and sanctuary cities for the huge outbreak.  Instead of blaming and judging others, we are called to love. Love others no matter what their race, creed, sexual orientation, religion, country of origin, or social status, we are called to Love. Remember that our God also calls us to love our enemies and pray for them.  As we move forward today let us try to become more subjective instead of objective thinkers. What I mean by this is if we hear of someone getting sick or dying from this virus, let us think that person is a member of our immediate family. Pray for them and grieve for their family’s loss because, my friends, all of these people are your brother and sisters.
If we couldn’t laugh, we would all go insane- Take a little time to laugh and enjoy the people around you.  Share stories and memories, take walks, play games, and share dreams. Remember the funny things in life that happened. Be grateful, pray, focus on your faith and your relationship with God.  More importantly, love. Love the way God has taught us to love. Without this love we truly would be insane.

Peace Brothers,
Dean
